Gamebox Mobile Video Gaming is headquartered in Paramount California. We will travel up to 50 miles outside of zip code 90723. Requests for events 50+ miles outside of zip code 90723 will be evaluated on a case by case basis. We do not charge a travel surcharge for parties or events within 20 miles of zip code 90723.
Our 23' mobile gaming unit has a smaller profile than some of the others in the industry....which makes us ideal for smaller spaces and narrow streets. We need approximately 40' of operating space with the tow vehicle and gaming unit combined (approximately 4 car lengths). Setup usually takes 30 minutes. We do not allow customers inside the gaming unit during setup. Please ensure parking is available before we arrive to prevent delays with setup. *Please note that we cannot allow extra game play if delays in setup are caused because parking is not readily available upon arrival.
It is against our policy to unhitch the gaming unit from the tow vehicle for safety and liability reasons. However, we may consider on a case by case basis if the request is made in advance. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure adequate space is available prior to booking or discuss special accommodations during the booking process.
The short answer is "Yes". We can park anywhere with a flat and level surface. However, curbside parking is the only option available for events in residential areas. We no longer park in driveways at residential locations to mitigate the risk of damage to driveways and/or the gaming unit. We do not park on hills, wet grass, or in muddy areas for the safety of our customers and Game Coaches.
Yes. Absolutely. Our gaming unit can accommodate smaller wheelchairs for inside play. Please note that our Game Coaches are not allowed to assist with maneuvering wheelchairs in and out of the gaming unit for liability reasons.
Yes. The gaming unit is equipped with vent AC and indoor high velocity fans to maintain a cool atmosphere.
The show must go on! We will not utilize the exterior gaming stations if it rains, to protect the equipment from water damage. We will only cancel a party or event if the weather will pose a safety hazard for guests and our team.
The gaming unit is powered by a 6500 watt generator. We do not require use of power sources other than our own for liability reasons.
Yes. Most parks allow mobile video gaming units as long as they are parked alongside a curb, on the street, or in a legal parking space in the lot. In most cases, no additional permits are required. You are responsible for obtaining the required permits if applicable. *An additional charge may apply if the park requires a COI (Certificate of Insurance).

We do not allow the use of personal video games during the party or event for liability reasons. However, you can request a game and we will try our best to obtain it prior to your party or event if we don't already have it. Game requests must be made at the time of booking.
We do not allow customers to play their own music using our Bluetooth speakers. Customers have the option of selecting a video game theme song soundtrack or an instrumental mix of the latest pop, hip hop, and r&b songs. Custom playlists are available upon request at the time of booking. Custom playlists with explicit lyrics are not allowed for events or parties with guests under 18 years of age.
We can accommodate up to eight (8) players on the outside gaming stations at one time and ten (10) players on the inside gaming stations.
We suggest implementing 30 minute sessions per 18 guests and rotating each group so that everyone has adequate time for gaming. . At this rate...36 guests can play per hour.
No problem. You can specify what type of games you do not wish to be played at your party or event. We will alert our Game Coaches so they know in advance what games to put on the DNP (Do Not Play) list.
Of course! Please note that the quality of play is determined by the strength of the WIFI signal in the area. We do not allow use of our WIFI connection for remote crossplay. We cannot guarantee quality of play.
Virtual Reality (VR) gaming is not recommended for players younger than 13 years of age because of eye and brain development concerns. Some people may experience nausea, disorientation, vertigo, seizures, motion sickness, general discomfort, headaches, anxiety or other physical, mental or health-related injuries when experiencing virtual reality. Those with epilepsy may be adversely affected by virtual reality experiences.
We strictly enforce the 20-20-20 rule for all players who participate in VR gaming activities. Players have a time limit of no more than 20 minutes per session, must sit down for 20 seconds after playing, and be able to look 20 feet away without any dizziness, discomfort, or disorientation before being allowed to exit the VR gaming station.
Yes. The host of the party or event, or another responsible adult must remain nearby to supervise children and guests at all times.
Yes. Just a few. The number #1 rule is to have fun. Followed by: No food, drinks, candy, or gum allowed in the gaming unit. No scooters, bikes, skateboards, skates, or hoverboards allowed in the gaming unit. No profanity or disruptive behavior. No touching of the games or systems. Game Coaches are available to assist at all times. That's it!
Yes. A deposit of $100 is required for standard events. Please review our General Policies for more information about deposit requirements.
Please note that your requested date/time cannot be reserved or guaranteed without a deposit. Please do not book a rental if you are not prepared to submit a deposit at the time of booking. A reservation will be canceled if the deposit is not submitted within 1 hour of receiving an invoice.
We accept valid debit cards and Zelle transfers for initial deposit payments. Balances can be paid with cash, Zelle transfer, school checks, or debit cards. A 3% service charge will be added for balances paid with a debit card. We do not accept payments from third-party apps such as CashApp, Venmo, or Paypal.
The balance owed is due 48 hours prior to the date of service. We will consider the event canceled and no services will be provided if the balance is not remitted as required.
All deposits are non-refundable. However, we understand that things happen and we will allow one (1) reschedule based on availability, or apply the credit towards another service. We will issue a refund of 100% of the deposit if Gamebox cancels a reservation for any reason, other than non-payment of the balance. Please allow up to 3-5 business days for refund processing.
Yes! We have discounts available for loyal customers and special pricing for non-profit organizations. We also provide our customers with 20 coupons for 1 FREE hour ($100 value) to share with their family and friends. Please note that you can only apply 1 discount per party or event.
*Non-profit or charitable organizations hosting events with 50 or more attendees will be charged the Everyday Play Package rate in lieu of the Special Event Play Package rate.
